Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organisation.

Pathfinders offer a wide range of activities for member’s growth and development including, but not limited to: experiencing camping & learning camping/survival skills, experiencing age-appropriate leadership training and more. Pathfinders are often engaged in church-approved community projects, visiting and encouraging the elderly and more. Pathfinders are also encouraged to develop their own personal Holy Spirit inspired outreach ministries.

For the pathfinder ministry to fulfill its purpose through being so efficient and effective that every Youth desire membership, every parent willingly and confidently enroll their child, and every member proudly recommends the program to his/her peers and community.

To have every SDA church and school attached and actively involved in a registered club and to have each club operated consistently and continuously by a trained staff.

Pathfinder Ministries seeks to meet the Pathfinder’s present and unfolding needs, to the end that we bring them to self-fulfillment and maturity in Christian faith, characterized by their decision to:

  • Accept Jesus Christ as a personal Savior and Lord
  • Reflect internalized Christian values through mature decision-making and behavior
  • Exhibit the righteousness, true holiness, and fullness of the stature of Christ
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, enabled and empowered to become full partners in active, selfless service supporting the mission of the church
